good day (meditated 2 and a half times). Fixed the bathroom light and the toaster. Went shopping and cooked supper - steak and chips. Tried to buy Johnny a replica bronze age axe from Simon £275. Wrote to S and my blog. Got grumpy at the end (Giovanni's misrouted email and M-D`s note about the lake. The budget / bill back up to €20,000 and permits required). And very tired.

being in love while sober. Being heartbroken while sober?
alienated from S, Bonnevaux, Aden. loss of detachment, no sense of control (!?) or security. a helpless unhappy victim of circumstances. tired. bored? frustrated? be nice to be able to do something constructive eg ebook for Stuart, or re-publish Metanoia. Get out. Take some exercise.
Finished Joe`s book and wrote a glowing review for it on Amazon which promptly disappeared - no sign of the corrected properly proofread/subbed version having been uploaded yet, and no response from Joe to my two emails about bloopers. Is there really a clean version out there? Suspect there might not be - a shame as it should be selling like hot cakes. A real revelation especially his portrayal of the relationship between Billy and his father, Old Tom and Clara. Very emotional. Prose a bit clunky at times, but it hasn't been edited, at all, as far as I can see. Felicity says the play is brilliant and I must come over and see it if it gets to London. Email Joe and see if he knows anything.

exploring B`s resistances - photos, recording, not writing (exhausted by work?). Enjoying her job (or at least the structure of going out to work 8-5! with a half hour lunch break!). An undiscovered continent, cliffs and hills coming into view. I`ve seen the luscious valleys.

Went out to look for the computer shop and see if they can hire me a machine - they can hire me one for £3 a day and a deposit of 5 million dong - just have to raid a cash machine. And then walked on to the Syrena Mall on Xian Dieu to get beer and bread and bananas and gently back home walking against the rush hour stampede.
S OK about my blooper, said she'd gone back to sleep and had a mushy dream about me, lucky thing.
Aden v odd in the evening. Went out without saying when or why and left me watching the telly and no supper (he was cooking spag bol). Felicity rang - worried about me, was I unhappy - and said I should ask Aden what the problem is. So I did when he got back and we had a really good long talk (not row) - a lot of old baggage unpacked. Told him about S and maybe going back early. No word from Travelgenio. Final wassapp with S and then to sleep about 2am.
Meditated 3 times today, and said the Office from Universalis. A lot of psalms. We`re having a group med tomorrow at French lunchtime to celebrate the "acquisition" of Bonnevaux. I ticked Andrew off about that - more like a gift. Hopefully Zoom will be set up properly this time, unlike we did for Elba`s mass.
