Note new windows in west wing 1st floor. More went in today.

My dam

in the shadow of its creator. Note river to the back, dry land at my feet.
Beneath me is what we think was the old monastic sewer where we think the river was running
into, instead of re-filling the lake.

. . . an etang really, but not drying out, and we're hoping for rain.
The ducks are pleased, and the muskrats (but we don't talk about them).
