Day 16. Sunday 22.x.17

Well, survived the night. Drank a lot of Beck's Blue, and cranberry & tonic, and tea. Went to bed earlyish and woke at 7am - the clocks have not gone forward, apparently. Walk dogs, meditate, church, Southwold.

Invited Amy to my party. She seemed really pleased.

Didn't make church, or breakfast. Got to Southwold Reading Room at about 11.20 then wandered around asking people where East Cliff was - not on maps, not where Google said it was, and everybody just said "sorry, we're not from here". Lovely to see the Fishers and the Linleys and Lizzie's fresh baby Elodie. Pol, Laura, Margot and I walked down to and on the pier, then back to the house for lovely roast chicken. Carrot cake for pud. Then back to Ingrid with the car, via Sweffling, and then a lovely cycle home with the wind behind me and no rain.

Listening to Sunday Morning Lovesongs with Steve Wright on R2 on the way there. Felt so happy, almost in love, not with anyone in particular, in love with life, being alive. As Aden said, not wanting to waste time, wanting more.

Home to meditate, Beck's Blue and hotpot. Rescued a box of grapes. Lovely satsumas at Ingrid's last night. A nice, unstressy, happy day.

Need to prioritise and get stuff done tomorrow (well, today, now).
